Stone Cottage
An authentic Greek Holiday Home close to Fiscardo
on the island of Kefalonia in Greece
Travel to Kefalonia during the summer is quite simple. If you are a UK resident then charter flights, which run from a number of UK airports and fly directly to Argostoli are the simplest and sometimes cheapest option.
Flight only tickets can be purchased through high-street travel agents and also sourced on the internet. Easyjet now fly direct from LGW to Kefalonia. Flights are twice weekly low season and three times a week in July and August.  Reasonably priced direct flights from UK airports can also be found - Thomsonfly,  Just the flight, and Charter Flight Centre  are good places to start. Most scheduled flights fly directly to Athens and are usually quite expensive.

If you are travelling from Italy, Easyjet has a new service - twice weekly direct flights from Malpensa Milan to Kefalonia. This service is high season only and flights are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4th July until 29th August.

If you do not reside in UK and wish to travel by air, then you will probably need to source a scheduled flight via Athens. Once in Athens, the options are either a 45 minutes domestic flight to the island or a coach and ferry journey. For flights, you will need to use Olympic - now the only domestic airline serving this route. There is  an online booking service.

After arrival at Kefalonia airport, the road journey to Stone Cottage takes about an hour. This can be by taxi though most of our guests hire a car and drive themselves. The taxi fare is a minimum of €60 each way, so driving to and from the airport actually pays for a few days car hire! We email detailed driving directions prior to guests departure from their home country.
